With years of experience in paper trading, Samson Paper acquired the Shandong Huazhong (Huacai) Paper Company Limited in 2008, which has also marked the Samson Paper’s entry to the mainland China market, and its effort to diversify its scope of business with the colossal demand for paper manufacturing on the mainland. Meanwhile, Samson Paper’s integrated sales network on the mainland has also come to function as an ideal sales platform for the local manufacturing industry.

Universal Pulp and Paper’s (UPP) primary products are high-end coated duplex board, high strength kraftliner and testliner boards. UPP currently operates three paper machines, which boast an annual capacity of 400,000 metric tons, and owns a power plant and an effluent treatment facility with a daily processing capacity of 30,000m³.

UPP aims to be one of the leading duplex board and container board manufacturers and strives to produce excellent quality products at competitive prices. In its continuous pursuit to deliver the best value to our customers, significant resources have been allocated into acquiring advanced machineries and adopting new technologies that result in improved product quality. Great effort has been devoted to developing both management and technical personnel as well. Whilst ensuring maximum output and efficiency, equally heavy emphasis is also placed on environmental protection, whereby the China Government’s environmental policies are strictly observed and proven scientific measures to guarantee the protection of our environment and to achieve sustainable development are used.
